Roulette is a random game where past spins have no bearing on future spins.
There are a number of online roulette systems that have been put forward as having the potential to improve the outcome of your game.
Martingale System
The Martingale online roulette system is a progression system that suggests that if you win you should go back to your original bet and if you lose you should double your bet. The Martingale system can only be used for even money bets in European roulette. The system should ensure that your wins pay for your losses, but it can be a long system which requires a sufficient bankroll and patience.
Fibonacci System
The Fibonacci sequence of numbers is one that appears throughout nature and the Fibonacci system suggests placing bets according to this sequence of numbers. The numbers are the sum of the two number preceding – 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13. In the long run, the Fibonacci system has been shown to produce the same odds as betting on red every time.
The Combination System
The combination system is, in effect, a double Martingale system. The combination online roulette system says that you must run two Martingale systems of betting simultaneously in order to increase your probability of winning.
The Labouchere System
Before you begin to use the labouchere online roulette system, you must write down any four numbers e.g. 2, 3, 4, 5. Add the outer two numbers together and bet on the total value e.g. 2+5 = 7. If you lose, you add the total that you bet on to the end of your sequence and then add the outer two numbers again e.g. the sequence becomes 2, 3, 4, 5, 7; you add 2+7 = 9 and bet on 9.
If you win, you remove the outer two numbers that you bet on and add the remaining outer two numbers e.g. remove the 2 and 7, and then add the remaining outer two numbers 3+5 = 8.
The Kanzen System
The Kanzen system acknowledges that roulette is a random game and it states that you must always bet on an even money bet, in other words, to make sure that you always have a 50% chance of winning. In the long term you will at least break even. If you increase you bets on a winning streak and decrease your bets on a losing streak, you should come out ahead.
The Patient Player System
The patient player system can be played in American roulette. Its states that the probability of winning on an even money bet is 47.3% and the probability of losing is 52.7%.
The probability of losing on an even money bet four consecutive times is 7.7% and the probability of winning on an even money bet five consecutive times is 4%. In other words, you need to wait until you observe the same result four times in a row and then bet the opposite, giving you a 96% chance of winning.
